Clan Rally 2003
The next “hosting” of the O’Dubhda will take place on Friday 12th to Sunday 14th September 2003 in Enniscrone, County Sligo, Ireland. Details will be posted below of the full programme as these are confirmed, but one event that will take place on the Sunday is the installation of a new Taoiseach, when the current Chief, Thomas, will hand over to the Tanaiste, Richard, from New Jersey. The inauguration will be conducted in accordance with the Brehon tradition.

Itinerary 2003
The provisional arrangements are as follows:
Friday 12th. Evening reception & registration in Atlantic Hotel.
Saturday 13th. Morning: Tour to Irish Folk Life Museum, Turlough Park, Castlebar – taking in several sites of interest, including the Mermaid Rocks at Scurmore, Castleconnor Castle and Ardnaree Abbey. (Times to be arranged) Evening: Clan Council Meeting in Atlantic Hotel. Book launch – “Inishcrone and O’Dubhda Country” by Conor MacHale, at MacFirbis Centre, Kilglass. (A shuttle bus will be available.)
Sunday 14th. Afternoon: Inauguration of Dr Richard F O’Dowd as Taoiseach, at Enniscrone Castle, followd by tour visiting – Scurmore, Rathmullcah, and Rosserk and Moyne Abbeys. Evening: Closing ceremony and Banquet in Beleek Castle, Ballina (A shuttle bus service is available.)
